Data Subject Rights ss2023

Under the UK GDPR individuals have the following rights:

1. The right to be informed

2. The right of access

3. The right to rectification

4. The right to be forgotten

5. The right to restrict processing

6. The right to data portability

7. The right to object

8. Rights in relation to automated decision making

9. The right to make a complaint

10. The right to claim compensation

Some of these are self-explanatory, but some points of note follow. Rights numbered 1 -8 must be dealt with without undue delay and in any event within a calendar month.
